One thing I totally want to catch next week while in Rome ...
is this incredible installation by Ernesto Neto called... 'While Nothing Happens'
It has been specifically created for the macro hall in Rome and is basically floating architecture ..
it's all made out of Lycra and filled with all kinds of ground spices .. the even cooler thing about it is that it's meant to be interacted with and the whole situation with the smell and the playing around with the structure is supposed to create memories and everything such as... (considering that smell is the closest link to memories that human beings have-- meaning smells will trigger memories to come back up to your 'working memory' faster than anything else)
honestly IMO it is totally amazing and I will follow up with how it was in person...
